Who was Hannah Hiron? Charles’ daughter Hannah Moore had married a Charles Hiron in 1881 in Ashby de la Zouch and they had three children born
in various parts of London. I don’t know where Charles was at the time of the 1891 Census, less than a year after the birth of his son Frederick George
but as he was a Railway Traffic Inspector he may have been travelling the country. Charles and Hannah Hiron had a further two children in Bletchley
and Rugby according to the 1901 Census. They then had another son in Rugby before being found in Leamington in the 1911 Census where Charles
Hiron was now the Station Master.
Lucy Moore, the youngest child of Samuel and Eliza Moore, was the only one not to have left home, but this was to change when she met and married
Charles Wilkins in 1894.
