James Moore James Moore married Hannah Carter on 21 Apr 1823 in Aylestone, Leicestershire. James was from the parish of Braunstone in Leicestershire. It is now known as the Town of Braunstone or more commonly, Braunstone Town. Aylestone and Braunstone were just over a mile apart as the crow flies. Today, both hamlets have been swallowed up in the suburbs of Leicester.
