The previous entry in the 1939 Register shows the inhabitants of Somerset House Farm. This was the family of Frank Bowler whose wife was Eva Wilkins. They had married on 21 Nov 1921 and had at least five children one of whom died in a tragic accident. Charles Wilkins died at the home of his daughter Nelly on 5 Mar 1944.
