No records of Robert Walker and family in the 1921 Scottish Census or of the death of Ann/Annie McCrae/Houston have yet been found.
It turns out that Robert and family emigrated to Canada at some time before 1923. This initially seemed unlikely but there is plenty of proof. For
example, their daughter Elizabeth Walker married William Granville on 20 Jun 1923 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Robert and Annie Walker lived in or around Niagara Falls, Ontario, until their deaths.
When did the family emigrate? Did Annie Houston travel with them or did she die in Scotland? Work continues.
