1911 Census : George Johnson - 28 Grange Avenue, Stockton-on-Tees 1911 Census : John T Johnson - 1 Ropner Terrace There are several candidates for the other child but a search for births in Stockton in the appropriate era for children with a father named Johnson and mother’s maiden name Wilkinson throws up too many. There was, for example, a Robert Johnson who married Isabella Wilkinson in 1858 and lived in Middlesbrough (which was in the Stockton registration area). They had a large number of children.
