Alma and Annie Harlington had their first child in 1880. He was a son named Charles Kellett Harlington and was born on 10 Mar 1880 and was baptised on 3 Apr 1880 in Snaith Chapels. He died and was buried just 4 months later. His parents were living in South Street, Goole, at this time. Less than one year later Alma and Annie Harlington were living in Quay Street, Goole. 1881 Census Alma Harlington Head Married 24 Ship Smith (Bldr) Goole, Yorkshire, England Annie Harlington Wife Married 25 - Goole, Yorkshire, England Annie must have been pregnant at the time of the census because she gave birth to their second son Tom Kellitt Harlington shortly afterwards. He was baptised on 28 Aug 1881. Subsequently Lilian Harlington was born in the first quarter of 1883 and Annie May Harlington was born in 1886. Their fourth child and second to be named Charles Kellitt Harlington was born in 1889. He tragically died on 3 Jul 1893, aged just 4 years 11 months, as a result of falling into the Barge Dock, Goole and drowning. Annie Elizabeth Harlington, the mother of five children with Alma died, aged 35, on 21 Mar 1890 in Goole.
