William Leslie Green (1895 - 1951)
William Leslie Green was born on 4 Jul 1895 in Bradford, Yorkshire. He was the second eldest child, and eldest
son, of six children of William Edward and Edith Alice Elizabeth Green. He was sometimes called Leslie.
At the time of the 1911 Census William Leslie Green was living with his parents at 31 Humber St, Retford. Aged 15, he was an fitter’s apprentice.
