Letters through Ashby-de-la-Zouch, arrive at 7.40 a.m. ; dispatched at 5.50 p.m. on week days, & 10.40 a.m. on Sundays. In the 1891 Census (next page) we see that his daughter Mary Ann, aged 16, was assisting as the Postmaster’s Clerk.
