David Torrans (1779-1843) David Torrans was born in Loudoun, Ayrshire on 20 Jul 1779 and was privately baptised on 25 July 1779. David Torrance married Christian Campbell on 3 Dec 1803. She was the daughter of Andrew Campbell and Cathren Gillies. When they married he was 24 and she was 34. This can’t be right. See birth dates of children.
