The presence of Robert Seabrook, Alfred’s brother, in the 1901 Census record should be a help in identifying their parent’s but it has not helped much. Indeed it throws up additional problems mainly to do with the year of birth being 1850, 15 years before Alfred was born. The fact that Alfred’s elder brother was a plumber, that Alfred’s middle name was John and that Robert was born in Hoxton suggests that their father could well have been John Seabrook who was a plumber and who lived in Bell St at the time of the 1851 Census. Unfortunately Robert Seabrook who was supposedly born in 1850 is not listed in the household. Further investigation is needed here. 1911 Census Between 1908 and 1910 Alfred and Elizabeth Seabrook and family moved to Chelmsford.
